There are 2 upcoming gigs that I intend to attend. First is Lykke Li on 21st September. Second is The National in November. To score the Category A tickets, I need to spend over 200 bucks. Thats equivalent to the amount I pay for Southside Music Festival where I get to watch tons of bands and still get close to the front row standing spots if I go to the performance stage early. I wonder if its worth it to spend that much on a gig in the fucking local motherland soil where almost everything is overpriced, now that my bank account is not as productive as it used to be the past 2 years,
Next Saturday, they are bound to put another rich fuck capitalist into power yet again.

What a nice way to celebrate my freedom as a civilian after getting my pink ic. On ord day itself, me and 2 of my mates flew off to Zurich to kick off our European Adventure and started with a music festival with a fucking awesome line up that consists of Portishead, Kasabian, Klaxons and much much more at Southside Music Festival 2011 in Tuttlingen, Germany. A fucking great experience to witness my favourite bands perform every day at different stages. I would definitely want to repeat this festival experience again if time and money permits.
I wouldnt wanna go into much detail about the whole trip but one of the best moments happened in Amsterdam for obvious reasons relating to organic grass and the historically rich city of Berlin. It was in Berlin that I met a cool and cute half Aussie half Croatian chick named "Kat" who has a unique personality and taste for films.
There I was wearing a Metroplis t shirt, a 1929 German silent film as a homage to the German city. I never wanted to attract attention or anything. But as we were doing the free walking city, me and Mosinz decided to hit on this chick that somewhat looks like Kristen Stewart from Twilight. She had a blonde friend who was nearby, just stood around and smiling with her wayfarer sunglasses watching us talk when out of the blue she commented to me, "I like your shirt". From then on I ignored this Twilight chick and start to talk to her more and found out she's kinda like an intellectual with an interest in French Expressive films and all that artistic shit, which is some sort of what I was into too. I will not elaborate further and will just say that I forgotten to even ask for her contact or fb after the whole tour was over because I thought I could bump into her again at the hostel that we were staying at. Alas that was not meant to be. I may sound like a loser for saying this but "Kat" will be the new benchmark for the next girl that I hope I fall in love with. A cool, unique and artistic chick with good tastes. =(
710am in the fucking morning and I havent even sleep. Ramadan has reached its 19th or 20th day and I am still without a job or school yet. Back to being a fucking bum who is of no use to society. Its ok I will take it slow, but for how long I can carry on like this, only God knows.

Here I am at home at 3:52 am in the fucking morning on the 15th of June 2011. The day that I have been waiting for. In a few hours time I will make my way to the fucking western end of the country, Joo Koon Mrt to my camp. A second home that I have been residing at for the past 1 year and 9 months. Reunification with my pink ic and freedom beckoning soon. The days of being a soldier will be over. Civilian life awaits.
When I get back home later, I will put my pink ic aside in a safe little corner in my room and prepare to pack my bags for my European adventure. Southside Music Festival will be up first and a clockwise tour of europe from the western to the eastern countries and back down south to where the journey will begin.
With this new found freedom, there is a depressing of realization that I will be without a job that provides monthly income or a school to enroll to, yet.
Most of the good times in my life are spent outside this fucking country where I'm born.

For the past month, I manage to fire live ammunitions from a rifle and survive a total of 9 days in the jungle on two separate occassions. The end of recruit life is near. I am so fucking tired now that I do not have that much energy to watch Entourage.

Season 6 of Entourage kicks off tomorrow on HBO. Thanks to the Revolution for letting me enjoy this kick ass show. Normally I would be able to watch the show on a Monday morning. But life is not so normal now. There is no such thing in life as normal. By the 8th episode of Entourage, I would be out of that fucking island.
All praise is for God for protecting me the past month and letting me go through all these meaningless shit that is forced into my life safely.
I think I want to watch Fight Club today.

Its black, its white. Its black, its white. Its DEAD. First it was the left handed guitarist Jimi Hendrix. Then it was Tupac. Now Michael Jackson is dead.
When you join the mafia, you become part of the family. Most importantly you need to practice Omerta, the code of silence. Whatever happens on the island, stays on the island.
Anyway it feels fucking great to be home to be with the people whom matters a lot to me. Looking forward to 9th September 2009 and 15 June 2011. Two very important dates.
